Jan 7 - 8 in Puerto Iguazu

Jan 7 - I arrived from Sampa today at 5AM, the bus took 15hrs to get here. The lady next to me annoyed the "·$! out of me but she changed seats about 5 hrs into the ride, which was good cause I was more comfortable with her out of my seat! I got to Iguazu and walked around for about 2 hours looking for a hostel, but they were all booked. I finally found one and left my things.

Hannah and Kahli were supposed to be in Puerto Iguacu the same days as myself so we decided we should hang out like in Rio, we might also be in Machu Picchu the same days and might do the trail together. At 720AM I went to a bakery and ordered some café con leche and some media lunas (cuernitos) for breakfast. I entered a new entry in my journal as well. I received a txt that the girls were catching the bus to the falls and that we were to meet at the entrance. I got my things and caught the next bus. When I got there I had just missed them so we were to meet later on in the day for soem lunch or something. Here in the national park there are lots of pathways to see the falls and the views are amazing. The sound of the water is calming and soothing. I also went on a raft ride up to the falls with a guaranteed soaking! The ride had two starting points, one at the road thru the rainforest and the second down at the falls. I took the road thru the rainforest and I found Hannah and Kahli all wet coming from the other side. They had just finished the raft ride and were starting the trail thru the rainforest. I was just starting my raft ride. We decided to meet up around 6PM when the park closed. The raft ride took us thru some rapids and up to the Devil´s Throat. Then to several other falls where we got soaked! It was awesome! Iguazu Falls Pics

The girls and I will have dinner tonight. We are having some Argentinian steaks!
